The UN's Ocean Investment Protocol outlines a path to a potential USD5.5 trillion blue economy by 2050. Yet, in Asia—home to much of the world's fisheries and shipbuilding—venture capital for ocean technology remains scarce, leaving a major financing gap to be filled.
