Hello Impact Community,
July has been a quieter month on the events front, but far from a quiet month behind the scenes. The team has been focused on turning this year’s conversations into something more durable: data, stories and tools to support better capital decisions across Asia Pacific.
Next month, we’ll be unveiling the results of the SFi Family Office Impact Survey 2026, our latest look at how family offices and private investors in the region are moving capital today – what’s changing, what’s stuck, and where they see the most urgent opportunities for impact.
We’ve also released a new SFi Insights piece, “No Neutral Dollars: Rethinking Capital Through Systemic Consequence,” which takes a closer look at what capital actually sets in motion beyond the spreadsheet.
Read on for the latest updates and resources from the SFi community.
Beyond Impact: Why “Neutral” Capital Doesn’t Exist

For more than a decade, sustainable finance has been busy building labels, frameworks and taxonomies to prove impact. Those tools matter. But proving impact on a spreadsheet and understanding what capital actually sets in motion in the real world are not always the same thing.
In our latest SFi Insights piece, “No Neutral Dollars: Rethinking Capital Through Systemic Consequence,” we explore why the next stage of maturity for this industry will need to come from a wider lens on consequence: how capital shapes decisions in boardrooms, restructures supply chains, and shows up in the lives of the communities it touches.
We also look at what Asia’s family‑controlled enterprises can teach the rest of the market about patient, multi‑generational capital – and why their way of holding risk, time and responsibility may be exactly what this moment demands.
