Hello Impact Ecosystem! We hope you have returned from your summer break feeling refreshed and energised to continue advancing meaningful impact. The SFi team is equally prepared for the dynamic months ahead. To set the stage, we have launched a new thought leadership article exploringkey trends shaping the impact investment market. Additionally, we are excited to embark on our inaugural Roadshow to Singapore, and we will also be speaking at a series of impactful events in both Hong Kong and Singapore over the coming weeks.
We look forward to engaging with the SFi community—both online and in person—to exchange knowledge and mobilise capital for impact, wherever our paths may cross.
SFi Thought Leadership: The Evolving Landscape of Impact Capital
As we transition back from the summer and set our sights on the remainder of the year, the continued volatility in the geopolitical and macroeconomic environment challenges impact investors to remain agile and forward-looking. In response, we have just published our latest thought leadership article, "The Evolving Landscape of Impact Capital: What Family Offices Need to Know", where we provide an overview of the key trends shaping the USD1.6 trillion impact investing market, explore what these shifts mean for Asia Pacific’s impact investors, and examine how the region's growing role in sustainable investing will set the rhythm for global capital flows.
SFi on the Road
SFi will be hosting our inaugural Roadshow in Singapore from 14-15 September, providing SFi members and our close ecosystem with the opportunity to gain first-hand insights from leading figures across the Asia Pacific impact investing sector and to foster meaningful connections that will set the tone for Singapore Impact Week.
In Hong Kong, we will also be speaking at HK Green Finance Association's Annual Forum 2025 on 8 September, and at the AVPN Global Conference on 9-11 September. Following our Roadshow in Singapore, we will also be speaking at TPC's AT ONE Impact Week, as well as at Phenix Capital's Impact Summit Asia.

Swiss impact investor responsAbility invests USD15 million in Singapore-headquartered August Energy, an Energy-as-a-service (EaaS) platform. The investment is part of the firm’s $500M climate investment strategy for Asia.
Cleantech solar, a Singapore-based renewable energy developer, has secured over USD140 million in green financing through two loan transactions from ING and Clifford Capital.
Foundation Private Equity, a Singaporean firm focused on Asia-based GP-led secondary transactions, and Quadria Capital, which focuses on healthcare investments across South and Southeast Asia, have teamed up to buy a significant minority stake in Indian out-of-hospital healthcare provider HCAH for an undisclosed amount.
Foxconn Technology Group announces a USD30 million Series D investment in Hong Kong-based smart robotics company Robocore Technology.
The Green Climate Fund, the world's largest climate fund, announced its plan to release about USD1.2 billion for 17 projects, mostly in Asia and Africa, its largest ever series of investments. Amid politically-motivated slashes to development aid, the funds will go towards speeding up dealmaking to help poorer nations respond to global warming.
In an unprecedented announcement, Google plans to power its data centres in Tennessee and Alabama with nuclear energy by 2030.
STOIC Foundation, co-founded by SFi member Jeremy Ip, will be hosting a Zero Waste Lab on 29 September around Innovations in bespoke bioceramics and food technology, where Plat Institute will be transforming food waste into stunning pottery via live 3D printing demonstration of bespoke and sustainable designs.
