This June, SFi Impact Summit 2026 will gather our community in Hong Kong with one clear ambition: to move from aspiration to action. This newsletter is designed as your practical guide to navigating the day – so you can arrive prepared, leverage the programme’s full potential, and leave with concrete next steps for your capital and collaborations.
From Intention to Action
Over the years, our community has done the work of building conviction, language and relationships around impact. This year is about something more demanding: how capital is actually being deployed, what is working on the ground, and how we close the gap between ideas and implementation. “Capital in Action | Impact in Motion” isn’t just a tagline, it’s the organising principle behind every Plenary Session, Workshop Salon and our new Innovation Lab.
How the Day Flows: From Kick‑off to Closing
Think of the Summit day as a journey, with each segment designed to shift you from context to questioning to participation.
Kicking Off | This is a time to gather our thoughts before diving in. Our opening sessions surface the big forces shaping our region: how global capital meets local realities, where money is flowing, and the key tensions investors face in 2026.
Shifting Gears | Impact CIOs and capital allocators open up on how they are positioning portfolios, where they see risk and opportunity, and what it really takes to move meaningful capital into impact strategies. Expect viewpoints that challenge comfortable narratives, from whether current approaches are fit for purpose to how performance, impact and governance are reconciled in practice.
Impact Dynamo | After lunch, the energy shifts from listening to doing. You choose your own path through the programme, using the Thematic Tracks and Innovation Lab to go deeper on one or two themes that matter most to your mandate. The aim is more intentional conversations – and at least one concrete next step to take forward.
Soaring Forward | We come back together to reflect on what we’ve learned and, more importantly, what we are prepared to do next. Closing conversations draw out shared priorities, highlight emerging collaborations and invite you to translate insights into actions you can carry into the rest of Impact Week and beyond.
Thematic Tracks: Mapping Your Summit Journey
This is where the Summit gets highly practical and grounded. Each salon is designed to be interactive rather than panel‑heavy: expect facilitated discussions, case work and problem‑solving with peers. Our Workshop Salons are organised into clear Thematic Tracks, each addressing a critical lever for putting capital in action – you can either go deep in one track or sample across themes.
A major new element this year is the Innovation Lab – a dedicated space where “Impact in Motion” becomes tangible. Here, you’ll encounter early‑stage impact solutions and investable opportunities across areas such as climate resilience, the built environment, circular materials and data‑driven health and sustainability.
Listen to concise, curated pitches that focus on the problem, the solution, the execution challenges, the evidence so far, and what kind of capital is needed next.
Have direct conversations with the teams behind these opportunities to understand their roadblocks and what collaboration could look like.
The Changemaker Community You’ll Meet
Beyond individual sessions, the biggest value of the Summit is the community in the room. You’ll be joining:
Family principals and NextGen leaders exploring how to align family capital with values whilst navigating intergenerational transitions.
CIOs and investment teams from asset owners and intermediaries who are actively implementing impact strategies and open to sharing how they make decisions.
Founders, fund managers and ecosystem builders who are bringing live deals, new vehicles and collaborative platforms to the table.
More than 40 global impact leaders will share their impact journeys and institutional perspectives under the theme “Capital in Action | Impact in Motion”.
Key speakers include Kyungsun Chung (Hyundai Marine & Fire insurance), Johannes Weber (Ananda Impact Ventures), Guneet Banga (Parinama Group), Noelle Laing, CFA (Builders Vision), Hareesh Nair (TPC (Tsao Pao Chee)), Annie Chen (RS Group Asia), Sana Kapadia (Heading for Change), Ronald Chan (Chartwell Capital), Patti Chu (Mana Impact) and Rocky Tung (Financial Services Development Council) and many more, each putting capital in action in very different ways. The goal is not just inspiration, but alignment and action: connecting people who are ready to co‑design structures, back builders and take informed risks together.
Satellite Events: Making the Most of SFi Impact Week
The Summit sits at the heart of a full SFi Impact Week, with curated satellite events, retreats and gatherings running around it. Make the most of your time in Hong Kong by exploring the full programme here.
As you plan, set a simple intention for the week: one decision you want to move closer to, one relationship you want to deepen, and one new area you’re willing to explore with curiosity.
Capital in Action | Impact in Motion
This year, the central question is no longer “what is the potential of impact investing?” but “what are we ready to put in motion together?” If you plan to be at SFi Impact Summit 2026, consider saving this guide to map out your day – and share it with a colleague or partner who should be in the room with you.
