Investment for social good takes centre stage at the Social Enterprise Summit this year. Paula di Perna opened the Summit emphasising the importance of individual action, highlighting that SRI investing in the U.S is growing fast with every 1 in 4 US dollars invested in SRI strategies.

Leonie Kelly discussed growing appetite for sustainable finance in Asia today but stressed that it’s time to move beyond talking about ESG to adopting it across the entire investment chain. Two other related workshops explored how impact investing could help solve complex social problems and fill funding gaps to reach the SDGs; and how the pay-for-success model may be applied in Hong Kong.
